The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) is glad to inform you that the CICC Board Meeting has been held in CICC Chongqing office on 21st of August at 14:00.
For the first time, the CICC Board Meeting took place in South West, at the presence of Deputy Head of Mission at Embassy of Italy in the P.R.C., Minister Counsellor Emanuele de Maigret, Consul General of Italy in Chongqing Guido Bilancini, Deputy Director of Liangjiang New Area Management Office, China (Chongqing) Pilot Free Trade Zone, Li Guoqiang, more than 10 CICC Board Members and CICC Secretary General, Giulia Gallarati. The Meeting was an occasion to assess CICC recent activities, analyze achievements and setting concrete targets and priorities for a growing CICC, focused and committed more and more in the territories, at the service of the companies, boosting new business opportunities and discuss about new important projects.
At the beginning of the meeting Paolo Bazzoni, Chairman of CICC, warmly welcomed all the guests and briefly introduced the purpose of the meeting.
After welcome remarks, Minister Counsellor Emanuele de Maigret expressed his gratitude to the CICC for the invitation and stressed the necessity for more exchanges and cooperation between Italy and China.
The following speaker, Guido Bilancini highlighted the importance of CICC's support for Italian enterprises in the southwest market of China and affirmed the efforts made by the CICC in promoting exchanges between China and Italy.
Later, Li Guoqiang introduced the status and development of Chongqing Liangjiang New Area, and the cooperation with the CICC. He is looking forward to further deepening the friendship, promoting cooperation between the two sides to attract high-quality Italian enterprises to settle in the Liangjiang New Area.
Afterwards, a closed door Meeting for the Board of Directors of CICC has been held. The meeting was focused on the overall situation and achievements of the CICC, and on new important projects. The CICC will further improve the service and create a better business environment for Italian enterprises in China.
The event ended with the participation in the opening ceremony of the Jiefangbei National Demonstration Pedestrian Street in the presence of the Deputy Mayor of Chongqing Municipality Li Bo and other representatives of the Commercial Departmentand and Foreign Affair office and Italian companies and Members of CICC.
