Company Visit & B2B Matchmaking with Huayou Group - 10.09

The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC), together with the Mechanical Engineer Working Group (MEWG), in strategic collaboration with SACE, successfully organized the “Bridging Business – Italian Solutions for Chinese Growth” initiative, highlighted by a special site visit to Huayou Cobalt’s advanced manufacturing facilities in Quzhou. The landmark event brought together executive representatives from 13 leading Italian technology firms and senior management from Huayou Cobalt, a global leader in advanced materials and the chemical sector. The program featured comprehensive tours of Huayou’s state-of-the-art production facilities, followed by curated B2B matchmaking sessions.

Among those delivering opening addresses were Qian Xiaoping, Vice President of Huayou Group, who emphasized the company's commitment to international partnerships and technological innovation; Han Yu, Managing Director and Head of Corporate Banking, East China at Standard Chartered Bank, who highlighted the bank's role in facilitating cross-border industrial cooperation; Donato Morea, Chief Representative of SACE China and East Asia, who outlined SACE's strategic initiatives to support Italian-Chinese business partnerships; and Antonella Fontanarosa, CICC General Manager, who emphasized the Chamber's ongoing efforts to strengthen economic ties between Italian and Chinese enterprises.

The program featured a detailed guided tour of Huayou Cobalt's state-of-the-art production facilities, allowing delegates to witness firsthand the company's operational capabilities and technological advancements in advanced materials manufacturing.

From 13:30 to 15:00, specialized B2B meetings connected Huayou Procurement teams with Italian suppliers, facilitating concrete discussions under SACE's "Push Strategy" framework for potential cooperation opportunities. The CICC delegation further engaged in strategic exchanges with local industry stakeholders, exploring additional synergies between Italian technological solutions and Chinese industrial development needs.
