Italian National Pavilion at 11th SAE, Sep 4, Chengdu

Chengdu, September 04th, 2025, the opening ceremony of the Italy Pavilion at the 11th Sichuan Agricultural Expo (SAE) was successfully held today at the Hall No. 6-Booth N621 in Chengdu Century City New International Convention and Exhibition Center. Curated jointly by the Consulate General of Italy in Chongqing and the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce, the pavilion features 6 highly active enterprises engaged in the agri-food and wine sectors.

The Consul General of Italy in Chongqing Mr. Fabio Schina, Vice President of the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce Mr. Massimo Bagnasco, the Deputy General Manager of Sichuan International Expo Group Mr. CAO Feng, and the Assistant to the General Manager of Sichuan International Expo Group & Chairman of Sichuan International Exhibition Co., Ltd. Mr. ZHAO Gang attended the opening ceremony of the Italian Pavilion.

As a global and European leader in the agri-food industry, Italy boasts the largest number of agricultural products certified by the European Union (EU) with Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) and Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) status. Its participation in the SAE – a landmark exhibition with far-reaching influence at both regional and national levels – is intended to further strengthen cooperation between Italy and Southwest China in agriculture and agricultural product sectors.

Representing 7 Italian brands, the 6 exhibiting enterprises at the Italy Pavilion are as follows: Shanghai Sinodrink Trading Co., Ltd., De’Longhi Trading (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., The Making Art Management Ltd. (YISHE), Chongqing Ouniang Import and Export Trading Co., Ltd., Chengdu Carrie Li Catering Management Co., Ltd., and Chengdu Wansi Trading Co., Ltd.
