The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce is glad to inform you that the Second Edition of Suzhou Business Forum was successfully organized on 16th of November at Suzhou Village.
Ms. Emanuela Vizzarro, CICC Shanghai-Suzhou Office Manager, welcomed the guests to with an opening speech.
After the welcoming the Commercial Consul of Italy in Shanghai, Mrs. Ludovica Murazzani and then the Vice president of China-Italy Chamber of Commerce, Valtero Canepa affirmed the importance of Suzhou into the China-Italo bilateral relations and mentioned that Suzhou is the best place to discuss and develop connection between the Chinese and Italian communities with 150 Italian companies.
Mr. Li Wenhui, Deputy Director of Suzhou Municipal Foreign Affairs Office delivered additional insights of history and development of Italian enterprises, highlighting the tremendous economic contribution and social influence over the past 20 years. Through this opportunity, he hoped to enhance the bilateral relations in the future.
After a profiling and long work of matching with the support of Suzhou Municipal Foreign Affairs Office, 22 Italian companies and 65 Chinese enterprises participated to the Business Forum.
Ms. Emanuela Vizzarro made a brief introduction of these companies that operate in the following sectors: Mechanics, Forwarding, Automotive, Trading, F&B, Furniture, Consulting and others.
The initiative of the Second Edition of Business Forum has for the first time successfully involved also companies from other countries to improve the quality of matching.
Under the successful communication and coordination, we had 12 Japanese companies, 3 Danish Companies, 3 German Companies and 2 Korean companies attending the B2B Meetings.
The event ended with a buffet provided by Il Milione.
The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce would like to thank all participants for attending the event and all partners for the successful cooperation!
