Post Event | The 3rd Edition of Italian Design Icons (Southwest Edition) - Style and Sustainability - June 4th-6th, Chongqing

Dear Members and Friends,

The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) is pleased to inform you that the 3rd Edition of Italian Design Icons (Southwest Edition) - Style and Sustainability, organized by Eastant Marketing Consulting Co., Ltd, with the support of the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce, was held from June 4th to 6th, 2021, in Chongqing at 31 buildings G Floor, TESTBED2, Eling Street, No.1, Yuzhong District. The event was attended also by the Consul General of Italy in Chongqing Mr. Guido Bilancini and the Chairman of China-Italy Chamber of Commerce Mr. Paolo Bazzoni.

The 3rd Edition of Italian Design Icons (Southwest Edition) is all about Style and Sustainability made in Italy. Industry leaders from iGuzzini, SFH, Sofima, AnsaldoBreda, etc. were invited to share their vision and goals for a future where Italian style and sustainability may harmoniously coexist. From designers and architects to university professors and CEOs, all the participants had the opportunity to discuss what a greener future might look like. The event offered a unique networking platform for communicating about the Italian lifestyle.

On Day 1, Prof. Chen Ying from Sichuan International Studies University, Prof. Pu Yongjian from Chongqing University-Galileo Galilei Italian Institute, Mr. Wu Bin, Deputy Director of Design of Tonino Lamborghini Real Estate Chengdu, and Mr. Leong Wong, Fashion BD Manager from Savino Del Bene, gave speeches.

Day 2 was Icons Day, dedicated to the Iconic Brands selected for this Edition. We were honored to listen to the speeches by Mr. Zeng Jianlin, Product Engineer from UFI Filters, Mr. Federico Gaiazzi, General Manager from SFH, Mr. Kenny Zhu, Sales & Marketing Manager of Casappa, Mr. Gaetano Cantalupo, China Managing Director of Comau, Mr. Luca Tarsetti, Regional Director APAC of iGuzzini, and Mr. Giuliano Menassi, CEO APAC of Pirelli.

Day 3 was the closing day, during which the participants had the opportunity to listen to Mr. Davide Angelibusi, General Manager of Fil Man Made Group, Mr. Stefano Piontini, Partner of Vudafieri Saverino Partners, Mr. Neal Zhao, Marketing Specialist & Barista of the Cimbali Group, Mr. William Chan, Associate Director/Central & Western Region Business Leader/CQ Office Leader of ARUP, and Mr. Liu Zihao, Product Designer of Taotao Studio.
