Tech Company Tour in Haidian District – 25.09

On September 25th, the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC), together with the German Chamber of Commerce, participated in the Tech Company Tour in Beijing’s Haidian District. The event was organized in collaboration with the Haidian Foreign Affairs Office, the Haidian Bureau of Commerce, with the support of Haidian Science City.

The event brought together Italian and German enterprises, local tech companies, and government representatives to explore artificial intelligence, digital innovation, and the latest innovation support policies in Haidian District.

Participants had the opportunity to visit two leading technology enterprises: Tongxin Microelectronics Co., Ltd.  and Zhipu Huazhang Technology, gaining valuable insights into the district's technological ecosystem.

At Tongxin Micro, guests explored the company’s advancements in automotive electronics and were introduced to a range of smart chip technologies including their applications in automotive systems, secure digital solutions, security solutions, and intelligent electronic devices.

At Zhipu Huazhang Technology, one of China’s leading AI unicorn company, participants experienced cutting-edge artificial intelligence solutions and learned about the company’s work in large language models and digital innovation.  

Each company visit was followed by a roundtable discussion between the host enterprise and the visiting companies. These sessions encouraged in-depth dialogue and opened avenues for collaboration in AI and digital innovation allowing participants to discuss technological trends, potential partnerships, and business opportunities.

The initiative provided an important opportunity to strengthen exchanges with local institutions and gain first-hand insights into the innovative advancements driving Haidian’s position as one of Beijing’s most dynamic technology hubs.
