Watch Out: Cybersecurity And Data Protection New Regulations

Dear Members and Friends,

The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) is delighted to announce that the seminar "Cybersecurity And Data Protection | What We Should Know" was held offline at Cotton's on October 26th, 2021.

Three speakers kicked off the discussion with presentations on various aspects of on the latest developments in cybersecurity and data protection in China with a focus on the regulatory, enforcement, industry and international developments in this area. The webinar offered the opportunity to learn more about Shanghai Municipal Level Regulations for the Data Implements.

 

 

Mr. Lorenzo Riccardi, CICC Board Member in Shanghai gave a nice welcome to all participants followed by Avv. Carlo GeremiaCoordinator of Intellectual Property Working Group (IPWG) and Salary Partner at ADVANT Nctm, with a short introduction of the Intellectual Property Working Group (IPWG) and next activities.

  •  Mr. Ervis MicukajFounder of JET IT Services - “Tips and Best practice for Cybersecurity and Data Protection”

"The best practices in protecting the data of your users and businesses in China. Mr Ervis emphasized the everybody should to follow a Cybersecurity framework, in order to create a strong IT process for the China entity, and have strong processes. During his speech, he laid down a clear process to identify the potential IT risks, create an IT strategy, setup a strong IT foundation, choose the right localization for your China data, prepare prevention measures and train users. 

 

 

The event was moderated Mr. Adam LivermorePartner of Dezan Shira & Associates, which made the seminar active and involved by all 25 participants.

The meeting ended with a Q&A session, in which Members and Friends provided answers to the questions raised.
