The LWG represents the interest of all Italian companies in China working directly or indirectly in the Logistics sector. Members of this group will work on defining, updating and taking part into the Working Group Program for increasing their knowledge and market share in the Chinese market.

 

LWG objectives are:

  • Promote inside the CICC the logistics culture, which is developing fast in China and worldwide.
  • Organize targeted initiatives for CICC members aimed to inform about the market trends, the evolution of Chinese regulation in terms of Customs and taxation.
  • Focused mainly on forwarding services (by air, sea, railway, etc), and Import & Export with specific initiatives such as the Silk Road Initiative.

 

Activities and projects organized to support members, such as:

  • Silk Road initiative
  • Updates on the Import Food Regulation created in cooperation with ICE/CICC
  • Custom & duty
  • FTZ
  • Information and updates the logistics industry from Shanghai Shipping Exchange // Drewry Shipping, Maritime and airline companies, in order to have direct information about the market and a presentation of their services.
  • Warehouse regulation.
  • Events with third party actors, such as Shanghai Shipping Exchange or consulting firm.
  • Events focused on special topic such as: Cold & fresh chain in China
