                      The Italian Gala Dinner 2010 in Shanghai Premio Panda d’Oro – Edizione 2010 Peninsula Shanghai Hotel Sabato, 12 Giugno 2010   The Italian Gala Dinner 2010 in Shanghai, “Premio Panda d’Oro, Edizione 2010”, si e’ svolto presso il Peninsula Hotel a Shanghai il 12 Giugno, organizzato dalla Camera di Commercio Italiana in Cina (CCIC).   L’ evento faceva parte di “Art in Life®”, l’iniziativa che quest’anno celebra la sua settima edizione ed è rivolta alla promozione del Made in Italy come manifestazione dello stile di vita italiano. In occasione della cena di gala, e’ stata servita una squisita cucina mediterranea accompagnata da pregiati vini italiani.   In cooperazione con la Fondazione Italia Cina e con il patrocinio dell’Ambasciata d’Italia a Pechino, del Commissariato Italiano per Shanghai World Expo 2010, del Ministero Italiano per gli Affari Esteri e del Ministero dello Sviluppo Economico, la CCIC ha organizzato il “Premio Panda d`Oro – Edizione 2010” per premiare aziende e individui, italiani e cinesi, che abbiano contribuito a sviluppare e rafforzare le relazioni economiche bilaterali tra Italia e Cina. Durante la serata di gala sono stati assegnati nove premi, in sette diverse categorie. I nove vincitori sono stati scelti dalla Giuria, dopo lo scrutinio effettuato dal Comitato di Selezione tra 29 candidati.   L’Ambasciatore d’Italia in Cina, SE Riccardo Sessa e’ stato il Presidente Onorario della Giuria, presieduta da Franco Cutrupia, Presidente della CICC. Oltre a Cesare Romiti, Presidente della Fondazione Italia Cina, gli altri membri della giuria sono stati il Console Generale d’Italia a Shanghai, Massimo Roscigno, il Direttore dell’Istituto del Commercio Estero a Pechino, Antonino Laspina, il Direttore Generale della Fondazione Italia Cina, Alcide Luini, il Vice Presidente della CCIC a Shanghai, Claudio d’Agostino, il Vice Presidente della CCIC in Canton, Marco Bettin e il corrispondente in Cina de “Il Sole 24 Ore”, Luca Vinciguerra.   Il Comitato di Selezione era costituito da tre esperti: Thomas Rosenthal, Responsabile Sviluppo Strategico e Relazioni Esterne della Fondazione Italia Cina, Fiorenzo Brioschi, Direttore del Consiglio Direttivo della CCIC, e Matteo Piccinali, membro della CCIC e coordinatore del gruppo di lavoro interno dei consulenti .                       The Italian Gala Dinner 2010 in Shanghai Premio Panda d’Oro – 2010 Edition at the Peninsula Shanghai Hotel On Saturday, June 12th, 2010    The Italian Gala Dinner 2010 in Shanghai, which hosted “Premio Panda d’Oro, 2010 Edition”, was organized by China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) and took place at the Peninsula Hotel on June 12th.   This event is part of Art in Life®, an initiative which this year celebrated its 7th anniversary and is aimed at promoting the Made in Italy and various aspects of the Italian genuine lifestyle. On the occasion of the black-tie gala dinner, exquisite Mediterranean food and wine were served.   Premio Panda d`Oro - 2010 Edition was officially organized by CCIC in partnership with Fondazione Italia Cina and under the auspices of the Embassy of Italy in Beijing, the Commission of Italy for Shanghai World Expo 2010, the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Italian Ministry of Economic Development.   “Premio Panda d’Oro” will be an annual event to award companies and individuals, both Italian and Chinese, who contribute to reinforce and develop the bilateral economic relations between Italy and China. Nine prizes in seven different categories were awarded during the gala evening. The nine winners were awarded by the Jury among the candidates previously chosen by the Selection Committee from a list of 29 applicants. The Ambassador of Italy to China, H.E. Riccardo Sessa was the Honorary President of the Jury, which was chaired by Franco Cutrupia, Chairman of CICC. Besides the well known entrepreneur Cesare Romiti, President of Fondazione Italia Cina, Jury Members were the Consul General of Italy in Shanghai, Massimo Roscigno, the Italian Trade Commission Director, Antonino Laspina, the Managing Director of Fondazione Italia Cina, Alcide Luini, the Vice-Chairman in Shanghai of CICC, Claudio d’Agostino, the Vice-Chairman in Canton of CICC, Marco Bettin and Luca Vinciguerra, the China Correspondent of “Il Sole 24 Ore”, the Italian most popular economic newspaper.   The Selection Committee was composed by three experts: Thomas Rosenthal, Strategic Development and External Relations Manager of Fondazione Italia Cina, Fiorenzo Brioschi, Director of the Board of CICC, and Matteo Piccinali, Member of CICC and co-ordinator of its Thematic Work Group.   Following prizes were awarded: • Panda d’Oro Category: 1. Urban Best Practice & International Architectural Forum

                 China-Italy Chamber of Commerce, in cooperation with McGraw-Hill Construction (MHC), has the pleasure to invite you to participating in the 2010 Shanghai World Expo Urban Best Practice & International Architectural Forum, a three-day international conference from June 29th to July 1st, 2010 held at the Urban Best Practice Area at the Expo site. The event, endorsed by Ministry of Housing and Urban Rural Development and organized by Shanghai Municipal Urban-Rural Development & Transportation Commission, will invite international urban planners and architects who have helped design 2010 Shanghai World Expo , as well as government, business, technology and academic leaders to discuss global urban trends, and share their visions and strategies for a better future. The program is aimed to draw examples from the EXPO, but go beyond the pavilions’ projects by addressing the bigger trends of urbanization and the pressing needs of eco-compatible development, which are reshaping the way we work and live.
