Call for Design - Visual Identity of the CICC F&B Working Group

Dear All, 

The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) is glad to inform you that the F&B Working Group (FBWG) would like to design a Visual Identity (Brand Name and Logo type) of the Group. The name “F&B Working Group” can be the subject to be re-named and reduced to a form of Brand tag-line, based on the creative proposal of the agency proposal.

The Visual Identity will be used in various applications such as: 

  • Printing materials
  • Websites and Social Media
  • Offline activities

The F&BWG is opening a public call to the design agencies that belong to the CICC network in order to realize the creative artwork. The agencies that would like to participate, are required to submit their draft proposal with general visual creative direction before April 26th to the following email address:



The “China-Italy Chamber of Commerce Food & Beverage Working Group” is a network of 60 Italian and Chinese professionals that are active Members of the Chamber with businesses in the F&B industry in China.

The F&B Working Group promotes activities that aim to leverage the collective resources reaching the common goals of mutual support in business activities and increase the awareness and cognition of the “Made in Italy” and “Italian Lifestyle” in the F&B industry in China.

Within the scope of the regular activities of the group are:

  1. Organization of seminars and workshop on F&B topics related to best practices and local regulatory updates
  2. Organization of technical demonstration to Chinese professionals on the usage of Italian F&B products, Italian food culture and main applications (B2B audiences)
  3. Promotional activities through-out Horeca channels aiming both to chefs (B2B) and final customers (B2C)
  4. Trade Shows with collective participation of the Members (B2B target audiences)
  5. Support to the organization of the collective initiative of the Italian Government Entities in China

The Working Group is coordinated by 3 elected Members on a pro-bono basis.


Selection criteria

The proposals will be evaluated by a committee that includes the CICC Secretary General and the F&B WG Coordinator and Vice-Coordinators. The evaluation will follow the following criteria:

  • Creativity
  • Memorability
  • Connection of the Visual Identity of the CICC

The candidates are invited to provide proposals that clearly express the creative direction of their artworks.



This call is on a pro-bono basis. The agencies will be compensating through the mentioning, for 1 year, of the design agency name in form of “Credits” in the footnotes and sponsors area of the marketing materials related to all the activities where the Visual Identity is used (wherever applicable).

April 26th: deadline to submit the proposals
April 30th: announcement of the selected agency
May 16th : the selected agency provides the artworks and Brand Guidelines
