On behalf of a Trading company based in Shanghai (owned by an Italian company), we are looking for a Sales Country Manager that will be based in Shanghai.

The Italian mother company is one of the leading European manufacturers of position switches, microswitches, safety devices, safety modules, foot switches, control and signaling devices, and devices for elevators. It bases its foundations on a solid and widely shared value system. The pillars that form the basis of the company’s work have remained constant, and constitute the fundamental guiding principles for all company activities.

 

The ideal candidate must have good knowledge about the Chinese market and have experience in the in the field of electronic products and components for industrial automation (it’s a plus if the candidate comes from same industry and has worked for companies such as Sick, Omron, Pilz, Schemrsal, Euchner, etc.).

 

The annual gross salary is negotiable, based on the experiences and skills of the candidate, in a range from 280,000 RMB to 550,000 RMB.

Position Purpose The Sales Country Manager oversees the sales process, focusing on enhancing business opportunities for the Shanghai Trading company. Responsibilities include planning, organizing, and coordinating commercial activities in alignment

with company leadership.

 

Main Functions ·      Evaluate sales network performance in China, proposing corrective actions. ·      Collaborate to optimize or introduce products based on Chinese market needs. ·      Contribute to identifying new business opportunities in China. ·      Provide regular reports to company leadership, focusing on the Chinese market. ·      Develop budgets and estimate sales forecasts for China. ·      Focused on sales growth and highly motivated to achieve the target.

 

Activities ·      Plan, organize, and coordinate sales network activities in China. ·      Manage customer portfolio expansion and loyalty in the Chinese market. ·      Handle relationships and negotiations with strategic Chinese clients. ·      Respond to customer complaints in the Chinese market. ·      Organize market and competitor research specific to China. ·      Verify achievement of objectives in China and promote corrective actions. ·      Identify and develop new business opportunities in China. ·      Provide regular reports to company leadership, with a focus on China. ·      Develop budgets and estimate sales forecasts for China. ·      Loyal, honest         and     transparent  in         the communications   with    Italian  Headquarter.
