Description
Responsibilities:
- Sourcing of new products in China and South-east Asia.
- Follow up the entire purchasing process of current and new clients for exports from China/South-east Asia to Abroad (supplier scouting, quotations, sampling, price negotiation, payments, goods inspection, logistics).
- Manage relations among Sales team, Suppliers, Forwarders, Customs brokers, and third-party Inspection Companies.
- Prepare marketing material related to products, including translations.
- Participate at trade fairs, factory visits and inspections within China and abroad.
Requirements:
- Enrolled in a Bachelor or Master’s Degree at a Chinese University for the entire duration of the internship. Better if MBA, MBI, Supply Chain Management or Business and International Trade related programs.
- Based in Shanghai.
- Chinese Mother tongue or HSK 6, Fluent in English. Italian and additional languages are considered a Plus.
- Great communication skills, detailed-oriented.
- Can do an internship of at least 6 months with the possibility of becoming a full-time employee at the end of the internship.
- Can work at least 3 or 4 days per week.
