Dear Members and Friends of the CICC,
On November 1st, 2018, the Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Commitee, Vito Rosario Petrocelli, and the Chairman of the European Union Policy Committee, Ettore Licheri, together with a parliamentary delegation composed by several political parties, visited the Centre for the Promotion of Bilateral Investments Italy - Chongqing Liangjiang New Area.
The delegation was chaperoned by the Consulate General of Italy in Chongqing, the Deputy Director of the Central Committee of CCP, Jianjun Zou, and the Deputy Director of the Liangjiang New Area Commercial Cooperation Office, Hang Zheng.
During the meeting the opening of the South-West China economy was illustrated, with a particular focus on the strategic position that Chongqing holds in the West Triangle Economic Zone. It has also been discussed how this strategic value could become a real advantage for foreign companies that want to invest in the Liangjiang New Area Free Zone.
