CICC Chair Riccardi Visits FuturaSun Solar Gigafactory

The Chairman of the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC), Lorenzo Riccardi, recently visited the FuturaSun’s new state-of-the-art Solar Gigafactory located in Huai’an, Jiangsu Province.

This landmark project represents a significant step in FuturaSun’s global expansion and vertical integration strategy. With a total area of 266,000 square meters, the Gigafactory stands as a symbol of the company’s commitment to innovation and sustainability in the photovoltaic sector.

Phase I of the project covers 175,000 square meters, including an advanced 50,000-square-meter cleanroom manufacturing area. The facility is dedicated to the production of premium solar cells, employing cutting-edge technologies to enhance efficiency and performance.

The visit underscored the growing collaboration between Italian enterprises and China in the field of green technology and renewable energy.
