GVS Opening Ceremony in Suzhou, Sep 9, 2025

The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) participated in the opening ceremony of GVS Technology Suzhou, which also marked the company’s 15th anniversary in Suzhou. This important milestone reflects GVS’s continuous investment, expansion, and commitment to innovation in the Chinese market.

Ms. Tiziana D’Angelo, Consul General of the Consulate General of Italy in Shanghai, expressed her optimism for the company’s future development. The opening of the event was then marked by remarks from Mr. Lucas Galuppo, Managing Director of GVS Technology (Suzhou), while Mr. Massimo Scagliarini, CEO of GVS Group, conveyed his congratulations via a video message.

In addition, the ceremony was attended by Ms. Stefania Mortelliti, Commercial Consul of the Consulate General of Italy in Shanghai; Mr. Fabio Felisatti, APAC Financial Controller of GVS Technology (Suzhou); Mr. Davide Angeliusi, Board Director of the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce; Ms. Antonella Fontanarosa, General Manager of the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce; Ms. Elisa Qiu, Jiangsu Area Manager of the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce; as well as representatives from Suzhou New District.

The event featured a ribbon-cutting ceremony, symbolizing the start of a new chapter for GVS in Suzhou. Following the ceremony, guests toured the factory, gaining first-hand insights into the company’s advanced production lines and innovative technologies.

Italian companies have a strong presence in Suzhou, operating across key industries and contributing significantly to local industrial development and economic growth. Suzhou has become a major hub for Italian investment overseas, supported by a favorable business environment and long-standing trade and cultural ties with Italy.
