A keynote address will be delivered by Prof. Roberto Donà from the International Business School Suzhou at Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University. His speech, titled “What Role for Italians in a Changing Global Scenario?”, will provide valuable insights into the evolving international landscape and the strategic positioning of Italian companies. The event will also feature updates from CICC leadership on past achievements and upcoming activities, as well as institutional remarks from key Italian organizations supporting business in China.   The official program will open with remarks from Lorenzo Riccardi, Chairman of the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce, followed by a keynote speech titled "What role for Italians in a changing global scenario?" delivered by Prof. Roberto Donà from the International Business School Suzhou at Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University. The speech will be followed by a Q&A session moderated by the Chair. Starting at 14:40, institutional greetings will be shared by representatives from the Consulate General of Italy in Shanghai, the ICE-Agency, and SACE. The session will continue with updates on the Chamber's strategic initiatives and regional activities, presented by key CICC leaders. An open forum will allow members to ask questions and provide feedback, followed by a final networking session offering opportunities for informal interaction among participants.   REGISTRATION   KEYNOTE SPEAKER   Prof. Roberto Donà Professor of Pratice in Management IBSS@XJTLU, Advisor and Independent Director, Chair Investment Forum Shanghai Chapter EUCCC Roberto Donà is an academic with a strong practical experience in consulting and business advisory. He joined IBSS in May 2013 as a Professor of Practice in Management covering different leadership roles, such as: Associate Dean of Professional Engagement, co-director of the International Technology Transfer Centre (ITTC@XJTLU), Program Director of the Masters of Science in Management and in Project Management. Before join IBSS he has been a faculty member of SDA Bocconi School of Management and Bocconi University for more than 20 years. In Bocconi he has been inaugural Director of both Executive MBA and Global Executive MBA and Director of the Double Degree in International Management. He has been Visiting Scholar (1996) and Visiting Professor (1998) at Stern School of Business (New York University) and Visiting Professor, Fudan University School of Management, Fudan University. He has a strong international exposure having worked in Russia, Bulgaria, Argentina, USA and China. Since the beginning of his career he worked also as management consultant for both domestic and international companies serving in several board positions. Organized by the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) in collaboration with the Jiangsu Liyang Economic Development Zone, the event features company visits to Veneta Cucine China and Changzhou Everwin Precision Technology Co., Ltd. It aims to provide Italian enterprises with an opportunity to explore local industrial development, engage in industry dialogue, and foster business cooperation.   Introduction of Liyang Liyang is situated at the junction of Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Anhui provinces, and is administratively part of Changzhou City in Jiangsu Province. Known as the "back garden of Shanghai", it lies at the intersection of the Nanjing Metropolitan Area and the Suzhou-Wuxi-Changzhou Metropolitan Area. Covering an area of 1,535 square kilometers, Liyang has a total population of approximately 800,000. In 2024, the GDP of Liyang reached 170.84 billion RMB. All along, Liyang is focusing on advanced manufacturing as its core, dedicating efforts to build two 100-billion-level industrial clusters of power batteries and high-quality green steel, as well as two 50-billion-level industrial clusters of smart grids and intelligent equipment. Additionally, Liyang is actively expanding into future industries such as low-altitude economy, synthetic biology, electric vehicles, and Internet of Vehicles, aiming to seize new opportunities in emerging sectors. The Veneta China New Factory, established by the Veneta Group in China, serves as the group's largest home production base in the country and the headquarters for the Greater China region. With a total investment of 1 billion yuan, the project is expected to achieve an annual sales revenue of 2 billion yuan and generate 50 million yuan in tax revenue upon reaching full production capacity. Additionally, it will create over 400 new job opportunities.   About Changzhou Everwin Precision Technology Co., Ltd. Everwin Precision (stock code 300115) was established in 2001. It is a large-scale manufacturing enterprise which focusing on R&D, producing and selling smart intelligent components. At present, Everwin has approximately 35,000 employees and operates globally.
