CUSTOMS: How to face the gate to China

 

During the event, an overview about the China Inspection and Quarantine will be given by the Shenzhen Entry-Exit Inspection and the Quarantine Bureau.

The seminar will be focused on the Customs and Indirect Tax perspectives (speaker: Ernst & Young) and related Logistics issues (speaker: Parisi Grand Smooth Logistics) when importing or exporting goods.

Speakers:

Mr. Zheng Honghua (Shenzhen Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau): Mr. Zheng Honghua with 9-year working experience, works at Shenzhen Inspection and Quarantine office Law and General Business Section. He is the Section Chief, being responsible for inspection of mechanical and electrical products of 5-year experience, and the 5-year administration experience.

Mr. Helmut Horvath (Parisi Grand Smooth Logistics Ltd): Helmut Horvath is Logistics and Business Development Director for Parisi Grand Smooth Logistics Ltd Mainland China and Hong Kong. He is in charge for the daily operations and logistics services for the past 5 years and has therefore developed extensive knowledge of the China Customs System. Further on he is an expert in International Freight Forwarding/Logistics and European Customs regulations.

 Mr. Peter Tang (Ernst & Young): Peter Tang has been with Ernst & Young for 8 years and is a manager in the Ernst & Young Indirect Tax Practice, currently stationed in Shenzhen, China. He has extensive China consulting experience in applying his knowledge and practical skills in indirect tax and customs to assist clients in the areas of import and export entry process, licensing requirements, bonded processing, duty relief programs, cross-border trade and supply chain planning in China.
