The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce is glad to invite you to the Guangzhou edition for the upcoming event,

"Corporate Data Management and VPN: New Rules Under Cybersecurity Law of PRC", a seminar that successfully took place on March 6th in Shenzhen now is going to have its second edition in Guangzhou on May 8th.
 

The role of data in nowadays business is fundamental. Due also to technological advances, companies are constantly gathering more and more information about their supplier, partners and customers. This massive flow of data raised concern among local government and legislator on how to protect them and avoid personal and national security treats. In the recent period, China enacted a set of rules (including the Cyber Security Law) in order to tackle this problem and safeguard individual and corporate’s right without losing on national security protection.
The aim of this seminar is to provide the audience with a general overview on data management for foreign and local company operating in China, with a glimpse of VPN use under recent reforms.

 

SPEAKER BIOGRAPHY

Valentino Lucini - Wang Jing & Co. Law Firm

Mr. Lucini is experienced in Privacy and IT Laws, M&A projects (including in the field of infrastructure and shipping industry), transportation related issues, share and/or assets transfer transactions and foreign investment cases including setting up of legal entity in China, Italy and Spain, cross-border contracts and transactions other related documents, cross-border shipping and commercial disputes (eg. Cargo claims and shipping arrest). 
Mr. Lucini provides legal consulting services to foreign and domestic companies for outbound investments, including advising on corporate governance, compliance, dispute resolutions, data management, daily management matters; advising on and dealing with M&A project (including in the field of infrastructure and shipping industry), including due diligences, labor reallocation, assets transfer, etc. as well as providing legal consulting services on maritime law.

​Simone Ciampi is the Executive Director of Exprivia IT Solutions (Shanghai) Co. Ltd. Simone has been living and working in China for more than 8 years and he has a broad experience in Information Technology and EPR integrated systems. Exprivia IT Solutions is a leading Italian company in the ICT market and it has successfully operated in China since 2014. It is one of the founding members of the CICC Healthcare Working Group.
