Post Event: Seminar " Background perspectives for SACE in China and Asia & Pacific" - Chongqing, February 26th, 2019

Dear Members and Friends of the CCIC,​

 

on February 26th, 2019, the China Italy Chamber of Commerce and the Consulate General of Italy in Chongqing invited representatives of the Italian export credit insurance company, SACE-SIMEST, to a seminar on "Background perspectives for SACE in China and in Asia Pacific ".

The distinguished representatives Davide Castellani, Vice-Consul General of Italy in Chongqing and Paolo Bazzoni CICC Board Member, held the opening speeches.

 

 

 

During the seminar, Raul Mora, China Chief Representative of SACE-SIMEST, introduced the main strategies, products and projects of SACE to support trade and investment between Italy and China.

 

 

 

SACE is an Italian company providing export credit insurance services and is jointly controlled by SIMEST with the Cassa Depositi e Prestiti group (a deposit and loan bank controlled by the Italian Ministry of Finance).

The company represents the Center for Foreign Trade and Italian Internationalization, promoting its cooperation with investments and foreign affairs and improving the competitiveness of Italian companies on the international market through comprehensive insurance and financial services.

SACE guarantees facilitate the purchase of high-quality goods and services from Italy, while at the same time bringing greater benefits to Italian companies. SACE currently has two representative offices in China, with offices in Shanghai and Hong Kong.

 

 

 

The seminar received strong support from the Chongqing financial community, local companies and large international companies. During the meeting there was a positive reflection on the financial plan for companies financed by the PRC investing in Italy.
