     China-Italy Chamber of Commerce is pleased to invite you to the following seminar:   How to React If You Receive a Bankruptcy Notice   If you receive a bankruptcy notice, it means that a bankruptcy petition by or against a company that owes you money is accepted by the court. There are certain issues that need to be investigated and acted upon immediately. Mr. Mark Pan, a certified PRC Lawyer working at the Everwin Law Office, will explain the types of bankruptcy and its process under the 2006 Enterprise Bankruptcy Law. He will also explain basic steps to protect yourself if your debtor is in bankruptcy.    Program: Automatic stay - Should we stop debt collection activities? Goods in transit - Can and should we stop the shipment? Claim filing - Is claim filing a must? How should we do that? Executory contract - Do we have to honor our pre-bankruptcy contracts with the debtor? Set-off - Can we set off what they owe us against what we owe them? Preference and Fraudolent transaction - Will we have to return payments we received from the debtor? Creditors`meeting - What can and should we do at the creditors`meeting? Reorganization - How will the reorganization plan be voted on? Conciliation - What is the difference from Reorganization? Liquidation - Who get paid first? Post-bankruptcy sale - Will we get paid for goods and services delivered post-bankruptcy?     What`s Risotto? Risotto is a traditional Italian rice dish and it`s one of the most common ways of cooking rice in Italy.
