Finding a job in China may not be an easy task, especially if you're new in the job seekers arena of this market. Usually all you need in order to get started is good advices and tips from experts in this field.

 

China-Italy Chamber of Commerce, IsCham Beijing and the AustCham Beijing invite you to an event with Mr. Philip Beck, an HR expert who assisted various job seekers to find their ways in this market.

The lecture will cover the following topics:

 

1) How to build your personal brand and promote yourself for free

2) Tips for writing a compelling CV

3) Identifying your target companies (57% of jobs are never advertised)

4) Managing rejection through the job search process

5) Tips for handling interviews from pre-interview, to telephone screening, to face-to-face, to post the interview and negotiating your remuneration

About the speaker: Philip Beck

Philip Beck is the CEO at Meijob (www.Meijob.com). He has 32 years international experience within the advertising, media and recruitment industries. 14 years ago he launched Australia's first digital media agency and subsequently went on to join TMP Worldwide (now Monster Worldwide) as President, Asia-Pacific, based in Hong Kong . His love of China dates back to 1994 and in 2005 was appointed COO for ZenithOptimedia China 实力传播 and launched CMX-China Media Exchange 博睿传 , China 's second largest purchaser of offline and online media space. Philip joined Meijob management in January 2009 and was motivated by a desire to join with the founders in building the most powerful, engaging and rewarding experience for China's job-seekers and employers alike and delivering on the promise of "All the jobs in China in one website". Philip holds several degrees and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
