the road and challenges ahead

Shanghai will be built into an international financial center and a global shipping hub by 2020, as stated by China`s State Council on March 25th, 2009. Over the past decades, Shanghai has witnessed an economic boom and social development which made great contribution to the country`s growth. Now the time has come for a key transition.

To be an international financial center, the construction requires a perfect financial system, financial institutions, professionals, environment and advanced management.

- Is Shanghai ready for this new role?
- What does Shanghai need to do to move forward as a global leader in the financial industry?
- Meanwhile what are the challenges on the road?
- What will be the most influential change that impacts enterprises?

To answer above questions and get more insight into Shanghai`s new role as financial leader, we would like to invite you to a discussion with our various experts on January 21st, 2010 at Sofitel Shanghai Hotel.
