Below is the Public Holidays 2014 Calendar according to Notice No. 28 [2013] of the State Council for your perusal.

 

New Year’s Day 元旦 (Yuándàn): January 1st (1 day)

Legal Holiday: January 1st (1 day)

Working Days: As usual

 

Spring Festival 春节 (Chūnjié): January 31st to February 6th (7 days)

Legal Holiday: January 31st to February 6th (7 days)

Day of Rest: January 31st to February 6th (7 days)

Working Days: January 26th (Sun.), February 8th (Sat.)

 

Qingming Festival 清明节 (Qīngmíng jié): April 5th to 7th (3 days)

Legal Holiday:  April 5th (1 day)

Days of Rest: April 6th and 7th

Working Day:As usual

 

Labour Day 劳动节 (Láodòng jié):  May 1st to 3rd (3 days)

Legal Holiday: May 1st

Days of Rest: May 2nd and 3rd

Working Days: May 4th (Sun.)

 

Dragon Boat Festival 端午节 (Duānwŭ jié): May 31st  to June 2nd (3 days)

Legal Holiday: June 2nd (1 day)

Days of Rest: May 31st and June 1st

Working Days: As usual

 

Mid-Autumn Festival 中秋节 (Zhōngqiū jié): September 6th to 8th (3 days)

Legal Holiday: September 8th (1 day)

Days of Rest: September 6th and 7th

Working Days: As usual

 

National Day 国庆节 (Guóqìng jié): October 1st to 7th (7 days)

Legal Holiday: October 1st (1 day)

Days of Rest: October 2nd to 7th

Working Days: September 28th (Sun.) and October 11th  (Sat.)
