During the meeting with the Italian compatriots in Chengdu, the delegates from Consulate General of Italy in Chongqing remarked how the recent visit of the Italian President Sergio Mattarella and of the Minister of Infrastructures and Transportations Graziano Delrio in China improved the already excellent relationship between China and Italy, it also allowed the sign of important economic agreements, three of them in South-West of China: a purpose letter for the establishment of a Cultural Park in the Tianfu Area, a deal between Sant’Anna di Pisa University, Chongqing University and Bishan Disctrict and the sign of a purpose letter for the settlement of an Italian company, leader in the production of automotive filters, In the Chongqing area.
During his speech, Paolo Bazzoni reaffirmed the great importance of an Association like the CICC that also due to the office opening in Chongqing, aims to support the Italians and Chinese companies being a channel between them. He also remarked the importance of being Members of CICC and take part to the Working Groups, which purpose is to strengthen the collaboration between companies from similar sectors for build a stronger and competitive common strategy.
The importance of the of the CICC Working Groups was remarked also by Federico Bullo, recently elected as Member of the Board of the CICC and operating into the Energy and Environment Protection Working Group (EEPWG) for the development of a pilot project for improving the urban drivability in Chongqing.
Later, the speech of Alice Piccioni that illustrate the CICC services and future activates that will be held in both in Chongqing and Chengdu.
The Italian entrepreneurs based in the area expressed their opinions, critics, advices and experiences enriching this meeting that was very useful and instructive for all the participant.
The CICC is going to organize more and more often activities in Chengdu in a tight timescale, aimed to create a system of synergies, able to better promote all the Italian excellences located in that area.
