Italian Wine Week | Vinitaly Roadshow, September 17 2021, Chongqing

The 4th Vinitaly China Roadshow (Chongqing station), co-organized by Veronafiera, the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and ITA/ICE-Italian Trade Agency was held on September 17th 2021 in Westin Hotels & Resorts in Chongqing. The event was attended by CICC Chairman Mr Paolo Bazzoni.

Together with Mr Gianpaolo Bruno, Italian Trade Commissioner and Coordinator of ITA Offices in China and Mongolia, and Mr Simone Incontro, General Manager at Veronafiere Greater China, Mr Paolo Bazzoni met the almost 70 companies brought together by Vinitaly as they represent the excellence of Italian wineries. "Concrete support for market operators continues to be a priority for CICC", underlined Chairman Bazzoni.

Vinitaly is a professional exhibition in the wine field under the Veronafiere in Italy. As the overseas strategic pillar of Italian wines, it acts as a bridge between Italy and other countries in the world, promoting cooperation between Italian wine producers and major players in the international wine market. The holding of Vinitaly provides important business exchange opportunities for various organizations, inspires and increases the development of participating companies and also it will facilitate the promotion of Italian wine in China.

This year’s roadshow brought together nearly 70 Italian wine producers and traders, including the most prestigious Italian wineries and domestic Top 5 wine importers, visitors were allowed to taste more than 800 high-quality Italian wines from north to south. The event attracted the participation of a large number of professional wine lovers in Chongqing.
