NOTTE ITALIANA 2023 | Italian Business Community in China reunited!

Within the beautiful and elegant setting of the Park Hyatt Hotel in Beijing, the Italian business community in China gathered in large numbers to celebrate the end of 2023, finally free from the pandemic restrictions that had forced us to cancel the past three editions.

The evening was organized by the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the Italian Institute of Culture in Beijing and with the support of the Italian Embassy to P.R.C. and ENIT (National Tourism Agency).

More than 460 guests attended the event, including CICC members, Chinese friends and partners, and everyone involved in the Italian system in China. Many corporate sponsors and numerous company tables.

 

 

The evening started with the speech of the Ambassador of Italy to the P.R.C., H.E. Massimo Ambrosetti: "Relations between Italy and China can count on excellent economic foundations. Despite the difficulties of the pandemic, our exchange has steadily grown," said Ambassador Ambrosetti. "At the same time, we face some challenges. For our part, we must first and foremost work together to ensure a more balanced trade and better access to the market. In this regard, I take this opportunity to reiterate the full support of the Italian Government for the advancement and protection of the interests of our business community in China".

 

 

Following the speech of Paolo Bazzoni, Chairman of the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce, who stressed the importance of maintaining the high quality of Made in Italy products to increase the position of Italian companies in such a complex and competitive market as the Chinese one: "Our products, our brands, our offer,  they are important references in the world in terms of style, quality, reliability and technology, in all sectors. But we need to work together even more! Only in this way will we be able to further increase our position on the market" said President Bazzoni. "This is the mission of the CICC, increasingly focused on supporting our businesses."

 

 

Notte Italiana 2023 was made possible with the support of numerous sponsors and partners, including Generali China Life and Generali China Insurance, Blue Diamond Sponsor of the evening, and their two respective CEOs, Gavin Low and Jack Yuan, who took the stage to present the company.

 

 

Other event sponsors include Zhuchao Group (Ruby Sponsor) and ICBC, Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone, Maserati and VFS Global (Emerald Sponsors).

 

 

During the evening, guided by Renzo Isler and Nancy Li, the Michelin-starred chef Andrea Susto, from Opera Bombana restaurant (technical sponsor of the event), presented the menu designed for the occasion, which was echoed by the representatives of the three wine sponsor companies VM Fine Wines, SinoDrink and Lunanera, who illustrated the paired wines to each dish.

 

 

Among the technical sponsors also Itema and Flow Asia respectively for the creation of the goodie bags and the design.  Bama Tea, Delonghi, Deppolit and ISU are the other F&B Sponsors that have contributed with beautiful corners.

 

 

A special thanks also to the trio Moreno Donadel, Park JongMong and Anthony Vanacore, who enlivened the evening with a Jazz music background appreciated by all the guests.

 

 

The audience then admired the performance of the two dancers, multiple World and European Champions, Andrea and Sara Ghigiarelli, preceded by an introduction to the activities of the Italian Institute of Culture in Beijing, presented by the Director Federico Antonelli.

 

 

After a second musical interlude, the eagerly awaited last part of the evening arrived: the draw of the first three lottery prizes offered respectively by Voglia d'Italia, iGuzzini and MSC Cruises. These were handed over by the managers of the companies to the three lucky winners.

 

The Ambassador of Italy to the P.R.C., Massimo Ambrosetti, the Chairman of the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce, Paolo Bazzoni, and the manager of Voglia d'Italia, Giada Zhang, present the most important prize of the evening: a complete tour of Italy.

 

Luca Tarsetti, manager of iGuzzini, and Massimiliano Guelfo, Head of Piaggio Group China, present the second prize: the PizzaKobra table lamp created by Ron Arad.

 

Lorenzo Diamantini, manager of MSC Cruises, and Fabio Antonello, vice-president of the CCIC of North China, present the third prize: a five-day cruise.

 

30 companies contributed to the more than 150 prizes in the Lucky Draws section. The after-dinner saw the drawing of all the remaining lottery prizes and more music, with DJ Leo Furioso, dancing and tasting of excellent cocktails, petit fourre, sparkling wine, and the fabulous panettone by Opera Bombana!

 

 

Before leaving, goodie bags full of lifestyle products were delivered to the guests. The products inside were kindly offered by: Itema, AAC Wine, Calzedonia, CCIC, Generali China Insurance, Generali China Life, Goglio, King's Dental, Moleskine, Fratelli Ponte, Pop Mart e Sherpa's.

 

 

This 2023 edition of Notte Italiana was appreciated by all, distinguished by style and elegance.
