The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) is glad to inform you that Smart China Online Expo 2020 was held on September 15th - 17th on the online platform. The CICC together with The Consulate General of Italy in Chongqing organized the Italian National Pavilion at Smart China Expo“Italy: Country of Innovation". Its virtual space includes a presentation of different Italian enterprises already with a presence in China and their leading technologies, covering a variety of industrial sectors from smart factory to robotics, process automation, IT, smart city and smart mobility.
In order to strengthen cooperation ties in the fields of politics, trade, economy, finance, science & technology as well as education, the Consulate-General of Italy in Chongqing and CICC have actively supported and organized a variety of promotional activities, while also assisting Italian institutional and commercial delegations during their visit to China and attendance to fairs and events. In recent years, cooperation between Italy and China’s South-West has focused on many different sectors, including agriculture and food safety, healthcare, urbanization, sustainable development and environmental protection, automotive and aviation.
