The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce together with its Quality Council is inviting you to the workshop “Digital in the Fashion Industry” on February 24th 2022, starting from 5:00 pm (CST) / 10:00 am CET. Welcome to participate online and in Shenzhen – at the China-Italy Innovation and Creativity Center. The seminar will be followed by a networking Aperitif for onsite participants.


What is the Metaverse? What are NFTs (Non Fungible Tokens) and how are brands using this new technology? How is the new digital age transforming the retail industry and even more the fashion industry? How are brands using Augmented Reality (AR) to make customers' purchasing experience unforgettable?

Join us in a one-of-a-kind immersive workshop on how digital is taking over the Fashion industry. Our seasoned experts will guide you through a journey from theory to practice, from the basics of the Metaverse and the digital world to applied models used by brands.

In the first part of the seminar, Mr Damon Giannoccaro, Creative Director of Giannoccaro Design and Creative Agency and Lecturer at Istituto Marangoni Shenzhen Fashion & Design Training Centre, in his speech "Digital Marketing - From Traditional Retail to the Digital World – “Metaverse" will guide you through an understanding of the basics of Digital applied to Fashion Industry and what are the latest technologies available in the market for brands.

Then, Mr Aaron Liao 廖怀南, Senior Vice President of D1M and Founder & CEO of Prismverse, will be sharing the latest trends of digital innovations, including AR, VR, virtual idols, NFT, to provide inspirations to the audience, to provoke creative and critical thinking that leads to the future world and ever-changing fashion industry.

Damon Giannoccaro, Creative Director of Giannoccaro Design and Creative Agency and lecturer at Istitutomarangoni Shenzhen Fashion & Design Training Centre.

Damon has successfully been the keynote speaker as well as the host at many international forums and seminars. Amongst many international and local awards received for design and creativity, Damon’s photography can be seen around the world as he is a premium listed photographer on GETTY IMAGES and EyEm. Having represented UNICEF a decade ago and now the United Nations (UNIDO), he endeavors to teach and expand on his many accomplishments. Damon is also a Senior Lecturer at the famous Internationally acclaimed “IstitutoMarangoni” in Shenzhen. Having just been appointed to the “Advisory Council to the European and American Chamber Of Commerce and is now laser-focused on building and expanding his Creative Agency based in China “GIANNOCCARO Design and Creative Agency Ltd” aim is to reach the global community by reaching out to all business sectors around the globe as he grows his agencies client base and reputation.



廖怀南 Aaron Liao, Senior Vice President of D1M and Founder & CEO of Prismverse

Mr Liao has abundant experience in investment and management of various industries, from media, production, animation, IP, art & museum, to China’s most innovative trend culture, digital solutions & technologies. In 2021, he joined D1M Group as senior vice president and founded Prismverse, a brand management company dedicated to creating a trend culture ecology in China and delivering the messages from China’s young generations to the world. In the same year, he also started to provide consultancy to He Xiang Ning Art Museum, and was invited by Shenzhen Nanshan District to serve as the director of Nanshan Museum.

The Quality Council is a council created by the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce on Luxury Living, Fashion, Luxury and Premium Goods, Design and Lifestyle, with the aim to support Italian companies in their business in China and helping them to tackle China and raise awareness about this market speed, magnitude and complexity.
