CICC and Italian Companies Meet Suzhou Government

The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) is pleased to announce that on June 17, an important official meeting was held with the Suzhou Government at the Nikko Hotel in Suzhou. Attended by CICC President Lorenzo Riccardi, Professor Giovanni Tria (former Italian Minister of Economy and Finance), Mr. Davide Follador (First Secretary of the EU Delegation to China), Vice President Mauro Maggioni, Council Member Emilio Cassanelli, Lorenzo Bali, Davide Angelibusi, and representatives of Italian entrepreneurs in Suzhou, the meeting marked a significant moment of dialogue and exchange with local authorities.

The meeting with Vice Mayor Ji further strengthened the ties between Suzhou institutions and the Italian business community, reaffirming the authorities’ strong commitment to supporting foreign companies and fostering a favorable and collaborative business environment. Discussions highlighted the importance of deepening cultural and commercial exchanges between Italy and Suzhou, with a particular focus on cultural tourism, brand promotion, and the development of joint projects and initiatives.

Through this meeting, the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce confirms the importance of Suzhou for Italian enterprises, committing to support companies in consolidating their local presence and seizing new opportunities for growth and cooperation.
