CICC Chair Riccardi Met Hubei Province Representative

On September 17th, CICC Chairman Lorenzo Riccardi met with Mou Jun, Representative of Hubei Province and Deputy Director of the Yidu Municipal Investment Promotion Agency. The meeting focused on exploring opportunities for cooperation between the Chamber and Hubei Province in the fields of trade, investment, and cultural exchange.

Located in Central China, Hubei Province is a major economic hub known for its dynamic manufacturing base, strong research institutions, and strategic position along the Yangtze River.

Yidu is part ot the prefecture of Yichang integrated in the “Three Gorges-Yichang Economic Circle” and has developed strong industrial clusters in green chemicals, equipment manufacturing, food and beverage, and biomedicine. These sectors, together with emerging opportunities in new energy and advanced materials, represent key areas of growth for Yichang Prefecture and attractive opportunities for international cooperation.
