CICC Met Head of Italy-China Section for Parliamentary Union

On September 21st in Beijing, the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC), represented by its Chairman Lorenzo Riccardi and Secretary General Fabrizio Costa, had the opportunity to meet with Senator Ada Lopreiato, President of the Italy-China Bilateral Section of the Italian Group of the Inter-Parliamentary Union. 

The discussion highlighted the importance of the ratification of the double taxation treaty by the Italian Parliament, a key step toward enhancing fiscal certainty and encouraging cross-border investments. Chairman Riccardi also emphasized the value of bilateral economic relations, particularly in terms of trade volume, investment flows, and the presence of Italian companies across various regions of China.

The conversation further addressed opportunities and challenges facing the Italian business community in China, underscoring the need for continued dialogue and cooperation to foster a supportive environment for enterprises operating in both markets.
