CICC Met with Mayor of the City of Asti in Beijng

On September 10th, Maurizio Rasero, Mayor of the City of Asti, visited the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce's Office in Beijing to meet with Chairman Lorenzo Riccardi. The meeting focused on exploring potential synergies between the City of Asti and the Chamber in the promotion of the Italian lifestyle and the rich tradition of food and wine culture.

Situated in the heart of Italy’s northwestern region of Piedmont, Asti stands as the main commercial center of the area’s renowned wine production. The vineyards surrounding the city account for nearly 40% of Piedmont’s wine output, including the world-famous Asti Spumante.
