CICC Talks with SPI-CGIL on social welfare

On 12th September in Shanghai, CICC Chairman Lorenzo Riccardi met with Silvana Cappuccio, Head of International Department of SPI-CGIL, the Italian Union within CGIL focusing on pensions for workers. They discussed advocating for an Italy-China social security treaty to reduce double contributions for cross-border workers and improving long-term visa mobility for Chinese professionals, key issues for businesses and employees.

Promoting the negotiation of Italy-China social welfare treaty is one of the advocacy activity of CICC, and international mobility of Chinese employees of Italian companies is an important factor for CICC.
