General Consulate of Italy in Shanghai: new software of visa applications

The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce informs that in the second half of the current month, the Visa Section General Consulate of Italy in Shanghai will update the visa operating system, experimenting a new software for the processing of visa applications.
The transition to the new system will inevitably result in a slowdown of operations during the above mentioned period.
For this reason, it is strongly recommended that Italian companies located within this consular jurisdiction present visa applications for employees and/or commercial partners as early as possible.
The Consulate will not be able to guarantee the issuance of visas whose application is not presented in a sufficient advance.
