The Manufacturing Engineering Working Group (MEWG) of the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) together with the CICC Suzhou Chapter (SCH) is glad to let you know that the 4th Edition of CICC MEWG Business Networking Event was held on July 21st in Suzhou
Over 25 people in the manufacturing engineering sector participated in the informal dinner aimed at discussing the upcoming events of the MEWG group. At the end of the meeting, a significant input was made towards a clear program of the group’s future activities from July to December 2021.
The coordinator of the MEWG group, Mr. Roberto Saponaro came to greet and thank all the participants, emphasizing the significance of the CICC Suzhou Chapter (SCH) since many manufacture companies gather in Suzhou, also announcing in advance the MEWG Roadshow on September 22nd in Guangzhou.
The discussion pointed out the importance of being part of the Italian Pavilion at China International Industry Fair 2021 (Sept. 14-18, Shanghai), in order to promote the understanding of “Made in Italy”, especially Italian mechanical engineering by the Chinese public, and to promote and spread Italy's technological image and outstanding influence in this industry. Furthermore, the discussion highlighted the launch of the series of Intercompany Network which provides the participants a visit to foreign companies in China, through this business visit, the participants will learn more about different business case histories and perspectives of companies in China. We are glad to let you know that the first edition will be held on 5th August at the headquarter office of the Würth Industry Service (China) Co., Ltd. in Shanghai. Founded in 2006, SCH is open to all manufacturing companies based in Suzhou’s industrial parks.
Internally, the SCH has established several "think-tanks" to discuss specific issues such as: human resource management, visas, cost control, procurement, legal issues, tax issues. On these various issues, in agreement with the CCIC, it has developed several seminars and promotional activities.
