Starting from the 11st of January 8 ½ Otto e Mezzo BOMBANA presents its
‘Regional Brunch Menu’


For the 8 ½ Sunday Brunch, when the Chefs at 8 ½ Otto e Mezzo BOMBANA serve a more traditional fare inspired to family lunches in Italy, an exciting development is in store!

 

Chef Riccardo la Perna and his team are launching a “Regional Brunch” where they will create a new Sunday menu with a new local theme every two months starting from January 11st!

 

Exploring the culinary traditions, ingredients and secrets of different Italian regions, this is a chance to introduce the Shanghai diners to specific cuisines that are not just “Italian” but Piedmontese, Tuscan, Sicilian and more.

 

Representing a land that was separated for centuries, and where local culture and identity is so fundamental, this Sunday Menu is a tribute to the diversity of Italian cuisine!

 

The regional Brunch will be available every Sunday from 11:30 to 3pm. 4-course set menu price RMB 458+10% including coffee or tea!

 

Piedmont

 

The first region to be featured, starting from January 11st until February 15th, is Piedmont: a land of intriguing landscapes, outstanding local products and amazing wines.

 

Chef La Perna’s menu features 4 courses that sum up Piedmontese tradition into a comforting and delightful meal: a selection of antipasti including vitello tonnato and anchovies with bagnetto verde sauce, homemade “Plin” dumplings, “Brasato” (braised meat) and delicious desserts made with chocolate and hazelnuts.
