(Mr. Carlo Capasa, Chairman of CNMI)

(Mr. Gianpaolo Bruno, Chief Representative of ITA Italian Trade Agency Beijing and General Coordinator for China and Mongolia)

(Ms. Giulia Gallarati, Secretary General of China-Italy Chamber of Commerce)

Through the joint show of Chinese and Italian fashion designers and the static exhibition of emerging Italian designers, all participants felt the natural complementarity between China and Italy in the fields of fashion and culture, providing opportunities for in-depth exchanges and industrial cooperation between Chinese and foreign fashion ecosystem companies. In addition, the International Fashion Industry Internet Centre was officially unveiled. Through the platform's empowerment in design and branding, the respective advantages of China and Italy will be fully utilized to achieve mutual benefit and win-win results.

Affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, the global fashion industry is encountering a major impact. The central government has proposed for the first time “to establish a new development pattern whereby domestic and foreign markets can boost each other”, while the industrial Internet is also ushering in a period of acceleration, and the industrial ecology of the global fashion industry is being reconstructed. At the conference, the attendees communicated face-to-face with fashion industry leaders to learn about the innovative practices of the fashion industry Internet, and have a better idea of the development trend of the fashion industry.

Facing an era of counter-cyclical economy, the conference aims to point out the direction for the development of China’s fashion industry, jointly build an industrial ecology, and create a new fashion industry Internet platform.
