The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) is pleased to inform you about the opportunity to sponsor a book of pictures taken in Shanghai.
During his journey in China, Mr. Michele Spadafora, took in Shanghai some images that have been highly appreciated by the China National Tourism Administration and the Cultural Office of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China.
In collaboration with the De Agostini publisher an editorial project has been realized: a book of images with the commentary in three languages (Chinese, English and Italian) which would enable an extensive distribution of the product. When possible, the commentary will be based on Chinese literature works with an accurate editing and addressed to readers of middle-high knowledge.
The book, sponsored by CICC, will be included in the publisher’s catalogue and distributed worldwide in bookstores, to promote both China and the international interests of the participants.
The project has been presented at the last Beijing Book Fair.

Michele Spadafora was born in Cosenza and graduated in Physics. He has been working extensively in the informatics field and had travelled for a long time coming across peoples and cultures.
His pictures have been published in magazines specialized in photography and travelling. Those taken in countries such as Jordan and Portugal have been highly appreciated by the respective Embassies in Italy: those in Jordan have been showed to the Queen ("Nobody has ever seen our Country in the way he has"), "you have caught the soul of my country" (remark of the Ambassador of Portugal).
He is currently collaborating with De Agostini publisher.
