Shanghai, October 24th, 2025 — Lorenzo Riccardi, Chairman of the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC), joined CGTN for an interview to discuss China’s economic development and its implications for international business cooperation.
Chairman Riccardi highlighted that the new five-year plan will prioritize technological self-reliance, green transition, and high-quality growth, and Italian companies can cooperate in the areas of innovation-and sustainable development.
These priorities create opportunities for Italy and the Europe to enhance collaboration with China in advanced manufacturing, green technology, and sustainable consumer goods.
Lorenzo Riccardi also emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation between Chinese and Italian enterprises, leveraging bilateral chambers and institutional networks to support mutual growth, innovation, and sustainable trade across the Asia–Pacific region.
