Chinese Holiday`s Schedule for 2013

According to Notice No. 33 [2012] of the State Council issued on December 8th 2012, here below is provided the holiday schedule of the year 2013. The main festivals are:

 

New Year’s Day 元旦 (Yuándàn): January 1st to 3rd (3 days)

Legal Holiday: January 1st (1 day)

Days of Rest: January 2nd and 3rd

Working Days: January 5th and 6th

 

Spring Festival 春节 (Chūnjié): February 9th to 15th (7 days)

Legal Holiday: from February 9th to 11th (3 days)

Days of Rest: from February 12th to 15th

Working Days: February 16th and 17th

 

Qingming Festival 清明节 (Qīngmíng jié): April 4th to 6th (3 days)

Legal Holiday: April 4th (1 day)

Days of Rest: April 5th and 6th

Working Day:April 7th

 

Labour Day 劳动节 (Láodòng jié): April 29th to May 1st (3 days)

Legal Holiday: May 1st

Days of Rest: April 29th and 30th

Working Days: April 27th and 28th

 

Dragon Boat Festival 端午节 (Duānwŭ jié): June 10th to 12th (3 days)

Legal Holiday: June 12th (1 day)

Days of Rest: June 10th and 11th

Working Days: June 8th and 9th

 

Mid-Autumn Festival 中秋节 (Zhōngqiū jié): September 19th to 21st (3 days)

Legal Holiday: September 19th (1 day)

Days of Rest: September 20th and 21st

Working Days: September 22nd

 

National Day 国庆节 (Guóqìng jié): October 1st to 7th (7 days)

Legal Holiday: from October 1st to 3rd (3 days)

Days of Rest: from October 4th to 7th

Working Days: September 29th and October 12th
