Guests from Sister City: The Venetian Performance Troup

A highlight of the event was the performance by the Venetian troupe, bringing the authentic Venice Carnival experience to Suzhou. This year marks the 700th anniversary of Marco Polo's passing. To commemorate this occasion, we invited a delegation from the "Marco Polo's New Ways" Cultural Promotion Association. Their rich performances depicted Marco Polo's return to Suzhou 700 years later. Experience the authentic atmosphere of the Venetian Carnival right here, without leaving the country!

Set against the picturesque backdrop of Jinji Lake and the Suzhou skyline, visitors enjoyed a variety of activities including an open-air market, a Lamborghini and Aprilia motor show, the Le Spose di Giò_ Italian Wedding Dresses Showcase, live music from Italian rock bands, group dances, and an Italian food and cultural market.
