Inauguration Italian National Pavilion at 7th WCIFIT, Chongqing

The opening ceremony of the Italy Pavilion at the 7th Western China Investment and Trade Fair (WCIFIT) was successfully held on May 22nd at the Hall N1- Booth A02-2 in Chongqing International Expo Center. Organized by the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) and supported by the Consulate General of Italy in Chongqing, the event marks a significant milestone in promoting economic ties between the two nations.

The WCIFIT, renowned for fostering business development in Western China, serves as a crucial platform for foreign trade, business cooperation, and investment promotion. Its influence extends far beyond the regional level, attracting global attention and facilitating international partnerships.

 

 

The Consul General of Italy in Chongqing Mr. Fabio Schina, Vice President of the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce Mr. Paolo Bazzoni,and the Second-level Inspector and Director of the Consular Affairs Division of Foreign Affairs Office of Chongqing Ms. FAN Qing attended the opening ceremony of the Italian Pavilion.

Inside the pavilion, 3 exhibiting companies are showcasing 12 Italian brands covering both consumer goods and industrial sectors, demonstrating the potential for business cooperation between Italy and China at the fair.

 

 

The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce hopes to attract more Italian enterprises to participate in such national-level exhibitions in the future and looks forward to reuniting with you at the next WCIFIT.

 

 

On the second day of the Western China International Fair (WCIF), May 23rd, the Tenth Business Matchmaking Session of the Chengdu-Chongqing Foreign Chambers of Commerce Union was held. Paolo Bazzoni, CICC Vice President in Chongqing, attended the event on behalf of the Chamber as a co-organizer and delivered a speech introducing CICC. Over 100 enterprises participated in this matchmaking session, where CICC connected with numerous Chinese companies across various industries interested in trade with Italy. We look forward to fostering more China-Italy economic and trade collaborations in the future.
