Logistics Working Group (LWG) meeting - Election of the new LWG Coordinator&Vice-Coordinators and updates on LWG’s activities

Dear CICC Members and Friends,

This is to summon the Logistics Working Group (LWG) meeting on 25/01/2021 at 10:00 a.m. (Beijing time) at CICC Shanghai office and via Zoom.

Subject of the meeting: Election for the new LWG Coordinator & Vice-Coordinators and update about WG's activities.

Hereby, the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce cordially invites you to present your candidacy by filling in the form, that you can find here,  and sending it to secretarygeneral@cameraitacina.com together with a scan of the residence permit and a short biography within 15/01/2021 at 6:00 p.m. (Beijing time). Candidates' biographies will be shared with all LWG Members subsequently.

Please consult the CICC Working Groups General Rules here and be minded that elected Coordinator & Vice-Coordinators will stay in charge for two years and that it's needed to be regularly enrolled in the CICC as Members.

Each participant can vote for max n.1 candidate for Coordinator and Vice-Coordinator by sending an email to CICC Secretary General at secretarygeneral@cameraitacina.com within 24 hours before the meeting (proxies are not accepted).

To confirm your attendance at the meeting, please write an email to: infoguangdong@cameraitacina.com within January 10th 2021, 6 pm (Beijing time).

Please be aware that the Working Groups meetings are open to CICC Members only.

CICC Working Groups

The Working Groups bring together representatives of companies operating in the same sector or located in the same geographical area. The aim is to share information, resources and ideas, organize relevant activities for the companies, and build sectorial expertise within the CICC in order to attract interest both in China and in Italy to benefit companies not present on Chinese territory yet. 

Logistics Working Group (LWG)

The LWG represents the interest of all Italian companies in China working directly or indirectly in the logistics sector. Members of this group will work on defining, updating and taking part into the Working Group Program for increasing their knowledge and market share in the Chinese market.

LWG objectives are:

• Promote inside the CICC the logistics culture, which is developing fast in China and worldwide.
• Organize targeted initiatives for CICC members aimed to inform about the market trends, the evolution of Chinese regulation in terms of Customs and taxation.
• Focused mainly on forwarding services (by air, sea, railway, etc.), and Import & Export with specific initiatives such as the Silk Road Initiative.
