Notice on CICC Charter Flight to China: Covid Test Requirements

Dear All,

This is to notify you regarding the special Covid test requirements necessary to board the upcoming Milan-Tianjin’s charter flight. To board the flight, passengers are required to undergo the following tests:

  • A first RT-PCR COVID swab test must be done within 72 hours prior to the flight’s departure time (estimated at 16:15 Rome time).
  • A second RT-PCR COVID swab and an IgM antibody test must be done within 36 hours prior to the flight’s departure time (estimated at 16:15 Rome time).

 

We strongly suggest highlighting the timing requirements to the test centers.

 

Please note the following requirements from the Chinese Embassy in Italy:

  • The first test (RT-PCR COVID swab 72h) and the other two tests (RT-PCR COVID swab+ IgM 36h) must be carried out by two different testing centers.
  • Tests must be carried out by testing centers officially recognized by the Chinese Embassy (full list here: http://it.china-embassy.org/ita/lqgz/t1874979.htm ) We invite you to frequently check this page as it may get updated.

 

In case of further tests required for those already vaccinated (Anti-Nucleocapsid so called "Protein N test"), please refer to the authorized list by the Chinese Authorities (http://it.china-embassy.org/ita/lqgz/t1891500.htm)

 

PLEASE NOTE THAT IT IS THE PASSENGERS’ RESPONSIBILITY TO MEET ALL THE ABOVE-MENTIONED REQUIREMENTS.
