POST EVENT | A New IP Talk in Shanghai, April 12th

On April 12th, the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce organized, together with its Intellectual Property Working Group (IPWG), and the support of HFG Law & IP, the event “IP TALK” in Shanghai.

The event was hosted by Fabio Giacopello, Coordinator of our Intellectual Property Working Group and saw the intervention of two foreign-based IP professionals: Daniele Petraz and Joohyung Suh, who shared some highlights on their respective jurisdictions (European and Korean).

 

 

Daniele Petraz, co-managing partner at GLP Italy, illustrated the 2024 European perspective on Intellectual Property, giving useful insights and tips as well as presenting novelties and hot topics of the sector.

 

 

Joohyung Suh, Partner at SungAm Suh South Korea and U.S. Attorney at Law, gave a comprehensive overview on IP trends in South Korea highlighting the importance of design patents. In his presentation, he also illustrated the changes to trademark law.

 

 

After the experts shared their knowledge, our Members had the opportunity to interact directly with them, exchanging opinions and points of view.

 

After the discussion all the attendees enjoyed a refreshement and had the chance to expand their professional network.
