RECAP | Shanghai Christmas Lunch, December 10th

12 December 2023

On the 10th of December, an enchanting Christmas Lunch was held at the distinguished restaurant Eat 'n Work, organized by the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) in collaboration with the Federation of Italian Chefs in China (FIC). The venue, set in the breathtaking skyline of Shanghai, provides a picturesque backdrop for the festival season and, for this occasion, it hosted more than 120 participants.

The event started with a delightful aperitif, generously sponsored by Aperol and Campari together with the culinary creations prepared by the chefs.

After that, the Christmas luch started with the welcoming speeches delivered by Emilio Cassanelli, Board Member from China-Italy Chamber of Commerce, and the Federation of Italian Chefs in China (FIC), highlighting the charitable cause behind the organization of the event. In fact, the whole proceeds of the lucky draw and part of the ticket will be donated to a charitable organization: Our Learning House, and their project A Helping Hand Gansu.

All the guests then enjoyed tasty Italian food and, just when they were full and satisfied, the excitement grew with the lucky draw!

Many people won the amazing prizes put on grasps and, right after a brief break, the culinary journey continued with a mouthwatering selection of desserts from the Italian tradition such as crostate, pastiere and struffoli. The lucky draw kept going until all the guests could leave with a smile and hands full of gifts!

As the event wrapped up, guests left with goodie bags filled with gifts from our sponsors.

We thank all the guests who attended the lunch and all sponsors for their support in organizing the event.
