On September 3rd, 2025, the Conference on Business and Economic Cooperation Opportunities: Open Beijing was held in Rome. The event was organized by the Beijing Bureau of Commerce and the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC), in collaboration with Assocamerestero and Banca Popolare di Sondrio marking the visit of the Beijing delegation to Italy.
The conference focused on presenting the development of Beijing Municipality and its business environment to Italian partners, while exploring opportunities for collaboration. The session, attended by businesses and institutions, was opened by Counsellor Xu Yuhong of the Chinese Embassy in Italy, Director General Giovanni Savini of the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy, Director Zhu Zhongwen of the Beijing Municipal Commerce Bureau. The CICC was represented by the Vice Secretary General Federica Viggiani and CICC Promoter, Michele Taccetti.
For the occasion, the CICC brought together institutional representatives, government, and entrepreneurs, including Assocamerestero, Confindustria, ITA Agency, Sace, Confapi, CILAM facilitating a constructive discussion for strengthening bilateral economic cooperation.

The day before the conference (Sep 2nd) the Beijing Government delegation, accompanied by the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce, held a series of important business meetings in Rome. The delegation met with key partners and companies, including Intesa Sanpaolo, Assocamerestero, and ENI headquarters.
These initiatives once again underscored the Chamber’s commitment to supporting its members, promoting business opportunities, and fostering long-term cooperation between Italy and China. The strong participation and the depth of dialogue highlighted the shared determination of both countries to strengthen economic relations and pursue new avenues for mutual growth and entrepreneurial collaboration.
