Organized by the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) in collaboration with the Jiangsu Liyang Economic Development Zone, the event features company visits to Veneta Cucine China and Changzhou Everwin Precision Technology Co., Ltd. It aims to provide Italian enterprises with an opportunity to explore local industrial development, engage in industry dialogue, and foster business cooperation.   Introduction of Liyang Liyang is situated at the junction of Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Anhui provinces, and is administratively part of Changzhou City in Jiangsu Province. Known as the "back garden of Shanghai", it lies at the intersection of the Nanjing Metropolitan Area and the Suzhou-Wuxi-Changzhou Metropolitan Area. Covering an area of 1,535 square kilometers, Liyang has a total population of approximately 800,000. In 2024, the GDP of Liyang reached 170.84 billion RMB. All along, Liyang is focusing on advanced manufacturing as its core, dedicating efforts to build two 100-billion-level industrial clusters of power batteries and high-quality green steel, as well as two 50-billion-level industrial clusters of smart grids and intelligent equipment. Additionally, Liyang is actively expanding into future industries such as low-altitude economy, synthetic biology, electric vehicles, and Internet of Vehicles, aiming to seize new opportunities in emerging sectors. This forms an overall development pattern of "2+2+X". The zone is situated in Shangxing Town, which borders Nanjing and is known as the "First Town to Integrate with Nanjing". About VENETA CUCINE Founded in 1967, the Italian Veneta Group is a distinguished representative of Italy's home furnishing industry and one of the world's most influential cabinet enterprises, with over 1,200 stores in more than 50 countries worldwide. The Veneta China New Factory, established by the Veneta Group in China, serves as the group's largest home production base in the country and the headquarters for the Greater China region. With a total investment of 1 billion yuan, the project is expected to achieve an annual sales revenue of 2 billion yuan and generate 50 million yuan in tax revenue upon reaching full production capacity. Additionally, it will create over 400 new job opportunities.   About Changzhou Everwin Precision Technology Co., Ltd. Everwin Precision (stock code 300115) was established in 2001. It is a large-scale manufacturing enterprise which focusing on R&D, producing and selling smart intelligent components. At present, Everwin has approximately 35,000 employees and operates globally. Everwin Precision was established in the Liyang Economic Development Zone in 2021. As a major provincial project, it has a total investment of 3.5 billion yuan and is being constructed in two phases.
