CALL FOR SPEAKERS - F&BWG Seminar, "Bakery & Pastry: The Italian experience”

Dear Members and Friends,


The CICC Food and Beverage Working Group (F&BWG) is glad to invite you to the Seminar "Bakery & Pastry: The Italian  experience”, which will be held on the 7th of May from 12:30 to 16:30, in Shanghai.

CICC F&BWG is looking for speakers with experience and/or academic background in the field related to the topic of discussion:

  • Ingredients & applications: presentation of Italian ingredients and their use in recipe books suitable for the Chinese market;
  • Traditions: presentation of Italian culinary traditions (in the pastry sector)
  • Industrial and / or semi-industrial production machinery and processes
  • Handcrafted machinery and production processes
  • IP protection & Labeling
  • Custom and Logistics
  • Best Cases of experts in areas such as:
  • Production
  • Distribution
  • Marketing


Evaluation Criteria

The selection of the speaker will be made according to the content relevant to the seminar and/or for the topics proposed.
CICC FBWG Coordinator and Vice-Coordinators  will give priority to its Members and will select the first submitted proposal that will meet the standards indicated.
If no applications are submitted by its Members, CICC FBWG Coordinator and Vice-Coordinators has the right to select the most appropriate application submitted by one of the non-member companies, giving priority to the “partners” of the Chamber first.

The Speaker shall be excluded from the tendering:

In case of non-conformity with the hereby open call for speakers;
In case of submitting false data;
Late submission.


Please note, the speakers shall not promote personal material throughout the course of the seminar.
