CICC Chairman Lorenzo Riccardi Visits Jiaxing Nanhu

The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) Chairman, Lorenzo Riccardi, met with representatives of the Jiaxing Municipal Government as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen ties with key local economies across China.

The visit aimed to gain a deeper understanding of Jiaxing’s economic development and industrial potential. Located in Zhejiang Province, Jiaxing is a prefecture-level city recognized as a manufacturing and commercial powerhouse. With a GDP of USD 104 billion and a growth rate of 5.6%, the city is distinguished by its strong private sector and robust industrial base.

The meeting provided an important opportunity to explore areas of potential collaboration between Italian enterprises and local stakeholders, particularly in advanced manufacturing, innovation, and sustainable development.

CICC looks forward to enhancing cooperation with Jiaxing and fostering greater engagement between Italian businesses and one of China’s most dynamic economic regions.
